TGVee
Speed and Release
Whether it’s for small summer waves or rapids of all kinds: Take the fast train to go surfing, take the TGVee with you!
The TGVee is an evolution of the Train, gaining its drive from an inch of extra length, while offering a bit more release through the Vee and the deep-seated Twin Fin Block. A technical Train with plenty of Vee – a TGVee, indeed.
This shape is surfed by experienced surfers at a size for small waves and rapids, and it’s all about top-to-bottom lines in small transitions and foamy ledges. For big and heavy rapid surfing beginners, the shape is perfectly suited for finding trim and drive. The super-wide tailblock generates all the momentum, the full rail ensures agility, and control of hold and release is influenced by the choice of fins. More rake brings more hold, more cant brings more release – everything as usual, only the fins should be twin or half keel in size.
We ride the TGVee in the Rapid PU construction, so as not to have longer repair sessions when switching between fresh and saltwater. The flex is very similar to PU. If you want to get high into the air from the wide tail, EPS or RAPID EPS is the best choice.

The TRAIN
Put IT on Rail!
This shape will provide maximum drive in small waves and rapids. The quad set up takes you to full speed, anything “turn” will become a carve.
This shape really was prove for us, that small waves and rapids demand for very similar type of rockers and outlines. The Train is one of our very original rapid surfing projects that started out as a blend of a Mini Simmons and a Keel Fish, found some quad fins on the way and became a go-to for slopey and chunky waves in sweat- and saltwater. Expect a lot of planing surface and work to do in order to control speed. Enjoy carves and rail combos while all the other guys are pumping their shortboards.
If this ain’t enough for you, trust the Zeitgeist. Just go on a trip and take the train for sustainable fun. Destinations are Euro summer beaches, the med and anywhere you can imagine to lay down some rail tracks.
The Train comes in a quad set-up to set standards considering big carves and drive. For purists, we also offer it in a classical Twin-fin set-up to provide a bit more release.

KEELING IT
A Performance Fish
If you just want to go out, bury a rail and slide a tail you are basically ready for the Keeling it.
A pretty classic keel fish outline looks slightly different – no kidding. The Keeling it has the wide point back and rockers adjusted. The foil of the board tapers smoothly over the full length of the rail meaning a bit bigger and better waves are good to go if you don’t mind handling the reactiveness. A sufficient amount of planing area under the chest will get you in early. Half-keels and smaller keels work best with this shape.
This is no beginner board, yet a ton of fun for anybody looking to squeeze everything out of a wide range of small to medium sized waves and rapids.
Spot Check
If there is curve in the wave there will be speed between the keels.

The FISH
Easy & Fast
Let’s take this dad quad thing seriously by adding a fifth fin, shall we? Hello the Fish – a 5 fin performance fish with a ton of drive and zip in the tail.
The Fish is one of our longest running models providing a ton of lift and drive from the tail to shoot you through small waves and rapids. The shape has experienced an overhaul in the last year adding some curve in the tail and additional width in the nose. This basically means added zip through your turns and more paddle power and stability in the front. The deep fish cut tail offers control on steep walls. Snap and full stop.
Ride this shape as a quad for maximum drive or thruster if you have to make some tighter turns. Either way, it will offer a great blend between speed from the get go, hold on the rail and looseness in the tail.
We recommend this board as a Rapid Surfing allrounder and Surfing step down for heavier surfers and people keen to combine “solid” with some extra speed.
Spot Check
Drives through fat sections, digs trenches in fat shoulders. Think dad quad and enjoy!
